SAGE TALK THERAPY

Anxiety and Trauma Therapy in NY & CT

helping high-functioning adults process trauma and find lasting relief

You might look like you have it all together, but inside…

  • Your mind doesn’t shut off, even when you’re exhausted

  • You replay conversations, wondering if you said the wrong thing

  • You feel responsible for how everyone else is feeling

  • You’re constantly anticipating what could go wrong

  • You hold yourself to a high standard—and rarely feel like it’s enough

  • You’ve done a lot of reflecting, but still feel stuck in the same patterns

  • You feel “on edge” or tense in your body without fully knowing why

  • You push through your days, but feel disconnected or depleted underneath

  • You’re the one others rely on—but don’t always feel like you have that same support

  • You want to slow down or let go—but something in you won’t allow it

And maybe a part of you is also thinking…

“Why am I still feeling this way when nothing is ‘wrong’?”

“I should be able to handle this on my own.”

“I understand where this comes from… so why can’t I change it?”

“I don’t want to keep feeling like this, but I don’t know how to stop.”

“What if this is just how I am?”

iF THIS FEELS FAMILIAR, YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

And more importantly—THIS IS SOMETHING WE CAN WORK THROUGH TOGETHER.

I help high-functioning adults work through anxiety and trauma so they can feel more grounded, clear, and like themselves again.

You don’t need more coping strategies—you need a way to understand and shift what’s actually driving these patterns.

01
Make sense of what’s underneath

We start by slowing things down and getting clear on what’s really going on beneath the surface—whether that’s anxiety, overwhelm, emotional reactivity, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. This helps you move out of confusion and into clarity.

02
Work through what hasn’t been fully processed

Using evidence-based practices, we process the experiences your mind and nervous system haven’t been able to resolve on their own. Instead of just talking about things, we help your system actually integrate them.

03
BEGIN TO FEEL AND RESPOND DIFFERENTLY

Over time, you’ll notice less overthinking, less emotional intensity, and a greater sense of steadiness. You’ll be able to move through situations with more clarity, more choice, and less of that automatic “pull” back into old patterns.

Overthinking, Anxiety, or Trauma Keeping You stuck?

About Me

Anxiety, Trauma, and EMDR therapist in Westchester, NY & Connecticut

Hi, I’m Dadiana Lopez—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, first-generation Latina, lifelong New Yorker, and therapist specializing in anxiety and trauma.

I work with people who are used to being the strong one—the ones who hold everything together on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted underneath. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the lasting impact of family and generational patterns.

With over a decade of experience across outpatient, hospital, and residential settings, my approach is active, collaborative, and focused on helping you create real, lasting change—not just insight. I integrate evidence-based therapies like EMDR with somatic and nervous system-focused work to address the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

Whether you’re new to therapy or returning to do deeper work, I’m here to support you in making sense of your experiences, shifting long-standing patterns, and building a life that actually feels good to live.
