SAGE TALK THERAPY
Anxiety and Trauma Therapy in NY & CT
helping high-functioning adults process trauma and find lasting relief
You’re used to being the one who holds it together.
You show up. You get things done. People rely on you.
But internally, it’s a different story.
Your mind doesn’t shut off.
You replay conversations after they happen.
You feel responsible for how others feel—and it’s hard to turn that off.
You push through your days, even when you’re overwhelmed.
You’ve done the reflecting, the journaling, maybe even therapy…
and still find yourself in the same patterns.
Part of you knows something deeper is driving this.
You just don’t know how to get to it—or how to actually change it.
And maybe a part of you is Thinking…
“Why am I still feeling this way when nothing is ‘wrong’?”
“I should be able to handle this.”
“I understand where this comes from… so why can’t I change it?”
“I don’t want to keep feeling like this, but I don’t know how to stop.”
“What if this is just how I am?”
iF THIS FEELS FAMILIAR, YOU’RE NOT ALONE.
And more importantly—THIS IS SOMETHING WE CAN WORK THROUGH TOGETHER.
This isn’t lack of insight or effort.
Its that your system hasn’t had the chance to fully process what’s underneath.
I help high-functioning adults work through anxiety and trauma so they can feel more grounded, clear, and like themselves again.
You don’t need more coping strategies—you need a way to understand and shift what’s actually driving these patterns.
01
Make sense of what’s underneath
We start by slowing things down and getting clear on what’s really going on beneath the surface—whether that’s anxiety, overwhelm, emotional reactivity, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. This helps you move out of confusion and into clarity.
02
Work through what hasn’t been fully processed
Using evidence-based practices, we process the experiences your mind and nervous system haven’t been able to resolve on their own. Instead of just talking about things, we help your system actually integrate them.
03
BEGIN TO FEEL AND RESPOND DIFFERENTLY
Over time, you’ll notice less overthinking, less emotional intensity, and a greater sense of steadiness. You’ll be able to move through situations with more clarity, more choice, and less of that automatic “pull” back into old patterns.
Stop overthinking and finally feel like yourself again.
I help high-functioning adults work through anxiety and trauma so they can feel more grounded, clear, and like themselves again.

About Me
Hi, I’m Dadiana Lopez—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, first-generation Latina, and therapist specializing in anxiety and trauma.
I work with people who are used to being the strong one—the ones who hold everything together on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted underneath. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the lasting impact of earlier experiences.
My approach is active, collaborative, and focused on helping you create real, lasting change—not just insight. I integrate evidence-based therapies like EMDR with body-based and nervous system work so we’re not just talking about what’s wrong, but actually shifting what’s keeping you stuck.
WAYS I CAN SUPPORT YOU
You don’t have to keep navigating this on your own. Here are a few ways we can work together.
Anxiety & Overthinking
When your mind doesn’t shut off and everything feels like too much, we work to understand what’s driving the anxiety—and help you feel more grounded and in control.
Burnout & People-Pleasing
If you’re constantly holding it together for everyone else, we’ll work on shifting those patterns so you can feel more balanced, clear, and supported.
Trauma & EMDR Therapy
If past experiences still show up in how you think, feel, or respond, EMDR helps your mind and body fully process what’s been stuck—so it stops affecting you in the same way.
EMDR Intensives
For deeper, focused work, intensives offer extended sessions to help you process and create meaningful change more efficiently.
